The Rules of the Road

Employment regulations create important rules that ensure safe and equitable workplaces. Complying with them prevents costly and unnecessary fines AND lays the foundation for a healthy workplace culture. Our workshops provide key information and tools to help employers, supervisors, and employees know and follow these rules.

Workshops:

Understanding Harassment and Discrimination at Work

Employment laws outlines the rights and responsibilities that employees and employers have to each other. As a supervisor, part of your job is making sure these “rules of the road” are followed. But that doesn’t mean you have to memorize a bunch of laws! This workshop explains the most common employment laws supervisors may encounter and guidance on how to comply with them. Participants also receive a helpful reference tool to take with them and use when they encounter these laws in the workplace.

Preventing and Responding to Sexual Harassment

Sexual Harassment is more common than we like to admit and today it is abundantly clear that Sexual Harassment Training in the workplace is critical. This workshop is for employees and supervisors, providing clear examples and scenarios about what sexual harassment is, what constitutes a hostile work environment, and how to manage and prevent these situations from taking over the workplace environment. We also help Managers and Supervisors learn to effectively respond to sexual harassment claims, affect a zero tolerance policy and support a positive work culture where future harassment incidents are not likely.
